My Art

“Painting is self-discovery. Every good artist paints what he is.” – Jackson Pollock

I am Iulian COPĂCEL, a visual artist who explores the expressive potential of the line, the gesture, and the rhythm. My art is a reflection of my inner world, my emotions, and my experiences. I use various techniques and mediums, from graphic to pictorial, from paper to canvas, from brush to drawing charcoal. My art is not limited by boundaries or conventions, but rather seeks to create new forms of artistic expression and communication.

My art is inspired by sources, such as music, dance, and mythology. I often depict anthropomorphic or zoomorphic figures in dynamic poses, suggesting movement, sound, and harmony. I also experiment with abstract constructions, using colors, shapes, and textures to create visual effects and sensations. My art is a dialogue between me and the viewer, an invitation to explore and discover the rhythms of being.

I have exhibited my works in various galleries and events, both nationally and internationally. Some of my recent exhibitions include: Rhythms of Being at Elite Art Gallery, The Luciferic Dance. The lost horn of the UNICORN at Th. Pallady Art Gallery, A Red Circle at Nicolaie Tonitza UAP Iasi Art Gallery, and Exhibition “3”. I have also I have been involved in the interior design projects for business offices buildings by creating large mural painting, illustrating their 14 principles conveyed the values and principles of the businesses through the poses of the ballerinas, and combined different elements of art, such as abstract, folk dance and folk art, to create a unique and harmonious visual expression.
