The Intersection of Drawing, Light, and Space
In the BEYOND project, drawing transcends the two-dimensional limits of the canvas to become an architectural presence that activates and redefines volume. Created through an interdisciplinary collaboration with Medaru Architectsand utilizing Zumtobel lighting systems, the project offers an immersive experience where "light gives voice to art".
The monumental canvases, suspended in space, are not merely supports for the image but become structures that engage in a dialogue with the building's rigor. "The dance of the line" and the vibration of the gesture—central elements of my practice—are amplified by the lighting scenography, transforming the visual act into a ritual of pure perception.
Here, technical rigor and abstract spontaneity meet to create a space of non-verbal cohesion, offering the viewer the freedom to find themselves within the rhythm of the lines that define this new interior landscape.
"This experience is not about looking at a drawing, but about inhabiting the interior of a gesture."
